Hi there I’m Janelle, and I am here to facilitate and educate you in ALL things skin. I’m a paramedical qualified dermal therapist with a diploma in beauty therapy. Extending my studies I graduated with a professional certificate in integrated health and dermatology. Diving deeper and evolving into my skin education with certificates from: Australian Academy of Corneotherapy. DMK natural methods of pharmacology, and endless ongoing courses & training. Skin education international – level one foundation & level two advanced. Certificate in Foundation and advanced skin needling. 

This sums up me … slightly skin obsessed 

After Completing diploma of beauty therapy 2000 I settled into an elite salon in Sydney, forever grateful for the experience. Although My heart missed home leading me to Opening my first beauty salon in western Australia. As time evolved LOVE drifted into my life which led me deeper south of western Australia Margaret River, where I continued to work. After 3 little people and 2 dogs. It was here I decided to pivot and specialise in ALL things skin. This is when Meraki was created in 2019, an intimate exclusive studio built out of love. My mission was to create a space to empower women to love the skin they are in. My philosophy in studio is to deliver the best treatments and educate my tribe along the way.

KATE GOURLAY

SKIN SPECIALIST

Hello, I'm Kate! I have always had a passion for health and well being and began my journey into the beauty industry in 2001,completing a Certificate IV in Beauty at the W.A. Institute of Beauty Therapy. From there, I travelled for several years and worked overseas in many different jobs, eventually settling back in Western Australia with my Canadian husband and three amazing children.

I went on to study a Diploma of Beauty Therapy with Ella Bache College of Skin and Beauty Therapy where I discovered my passion for skin. I am committed to continued education as the learning never stops. Currently, I am delving in to the art of Collagen Induction Therapy (skin needling).

I love to balance treatments with results driven ingredients and techniques with a very Zen approach to allow my clients that much needed time to relax and heal. I have certificates in Massage Therapy, Reiki and Bach Flower Essences and have been a Yogi for over half of my life. 

I am excited to help you achieve your skin goals and it is truly my privilege to spend time with you in studio.
